Gaylic nonsense
Unsurprisingly, Gaelic film mogul, Christopher Young (see below) lives on Skye which is fast emerging as a hotbed of Gaelic activism.
Not content with inflicting Runrig on the world some Skye residents want to inflict exclusively Gaelic education on their children.
Co-incidentally I am off to Skye for a long weekend. I'm going to wind up the locals about this "Gay-lic" nonsense all weekend!

I bet your wind-up session was barn-stormingly successful. Although I suspect the reality is that your didn't really meet anybody - given the wave of tragic sadness that floods through the gaps and voids in your blog.
Anonymous Coward,
See what you've done there is disagree with something I've said, and then rather than formulating a counter argument you've decided to personally insult me. That's really inteligent. Your rapier-like wit, has cut me sir.
Wait a minute, no it hasn't - fuck off you doss cunt.
Your blog is built upon personal insults - that's how you seem to want to publicly apply your intelligence. I wasn't trying to be witty - just honest.
It's pretty obvious that counter arguments won't make a shed of difference to you. Your mission is more blindly ugly than that.
Gaelic-speakers also pay license fees and there programming is made by BBC Alba on a shoe-string.
I used to think that the great tragedy of the Gaelic World was that their cultural politeness contributed fundamentally to the decline of their language and the dwindling success of Gaels in fighting centuries senseless xenophobia of the type peddled on your site - but, in the new digitally connected globe, that natural integrity has brought a cohesion and a sense of hope for those who inherit their Gaelic tongue and culture from their parents and from their parents before them. Your personal and communal insults are to be shown for what they are because they contribute to a kind of invidious, accepted xenophobia that falls from your lips as a cheap joke masquerading as social commentary. There is an obvious line between irony and bigotry.
My suggestion is that you put your intelligence to better use - else your blog will certainly reveal more about your self than the people and peoples you insult.
