Scotland's greatest painting

The Glasgow Herald is running a search for Scotland's favourite painting.
Dunno what the criteria is but I've always liked Salvador Dali's Christ of St John of the Cross which is owned by Glasgow. Last I heard it was being shown at the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art.

I seem to recall a great pic of Billy Connolly - in his big banana boots - hanging at the People's Palace in Glasgow. From the time before he went all LA-X on us.
How about Scotland's greatest panting or even depanting? the latter would have to be el scarfos at his ma's gaff circa 1988. Those Y's rule man!
